Verdict

The FiiO FT1 is a high-value closed-back headphone featuring massive 60mm dynamic drivers with a unique nano wood fiber composite diaphragm and solid American walnut or beech wood ear cups. Technically efficient at 32Ω impedance and 98dB sensitivity, it is exceptionally easy to drive from portable sources while offering a warm, engaging V-shaped sound signature characterized by deep, punchy sub-bass and smooth, detailed highs. Its premium build includes an adaptive 3-axis headband and breathable fabric-leather hybrid pads, providing long-term comfort that rivals much more expensive models. However, the soundstage is somewhat intimate due to its closed design, the passive noise isolation is only average, and the stock cables can be prone to microphonics.
