When should you consider buying a 10L dehumidifier?
A 10 L/day dehumidifier is worth considering when a small or medium room has regular condensation, indoor laundry, or damp air but does not need the reserve of a 12–20 L/day model. It is a practical size for bedrooms, living rooms, utility rooms, and smaller basements.
The rating is commonly marketed for roughly 15–40 m² in ordinary household conditions, although ceiling height, temperature, humidity, and airflow can move the result considerably. A divided or cold room may need more capacity even when its floor area appears modest.
Choose a 10 L/day model when it can cycle around 50–60% RH, drain continuously, and operate quietly enough for the room. Move to a larger model if it runs constantly, cannot dry laundry within a reasonable time, or leaves condensation in corners.
