MORENTO Smart Large Room Air Purifier Review | 45 Data compared

PCMag reviews the Morento Smart Air Purifier HY4866-WF and highlights its appealing combination of dual-sided filtration and modern wireless smart features. Engineered for rooms up to 1,076 square feet, the lightweight chassis houses two three-stage HEPA and carbon filters, along with Wi-Fi pairing for Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant voice automation. Testers appreciated the swift setup, compact proportions, and responsive smartphone controls for remote operation. However, the review notes that maximum fan speeds generate intrusive noise that easily disrupts conversations. The onboard sensor monitors fine particulate matter exclusively without measuring volatile chemical gases, and the ecosystem provides no support for Apple HomeKit or IFTTT routines.

TechHive reviews the Morento HY4866-WF and highlights its lightweight 8-pound chassis paired with an impressive 176 CFM clean air delivery rate. Suitable for rooms up to 1,076 square feet, the appliance pulls ambient air through dual filter cartridges and offers seamless Wi-Fi synchronization with Google Home and Amazon Alexa. Testers praised its rapid initial setup, accessible pricing, and dependable clearance of culinary fumes and particulate matter. However, the reviewer noted that maximum fan velocity produces intense acoustic noise that disrupts quiet evenings. The mobile companion application feels somewhat unrefined, and the nighttime sleep mode fails to extinguish all illuminated console icons, potentially irritating sleepers sensitive to light.

Dadfficient examines the Morento Smart air purifier and issues an urgent advisory regarding its internal packaging and assembly quality. Testers warn that a concealed plastic wrapper around the internal power adapter must be removed prior to operation, or catastrophic motor failure can occur. Although the dual-sided suction pulls significant volumes of air, the purifier suffers from an insecure power cable fitting and a stiff, unresponsive child-lock button. More critically, the reviewer uncovered a total lack of rubber sealing around the filter slots. This allows airborne contaminants to bypass the True HEPA material. Coupled with mandatory 2,000-hour filter timers and high running costs, the unit presents major durability concerns.

Live Science evaluates the Morento HY4866 and awards it four stars out of five for robust residential cleaning performance. Delivering a clean air delivery rate of 300 cubic meters per hour, the unit effectively cycles air through dual side intakes designed for areas up to 1,076 square feet. Testers praised the built-in particle sensor that orchestrates automatic fan adjustments, alongside convenient control conveniences like an integrated timer and child lock. However, the evaluation found that the fan generates noticeable noise on its top power setting. This makes it less pleasant during quiet family activities. This particular version also omits wireless app integration. Users must make adjustments entirely through the physical control panel.

TechWalls reviews the MORENTO HY4866 and evaluates its credentials as a dual-intake air purifier capable of servicing 1,076 square feet. The unit delivers a clean air delivery rate of 300 cubic meters per hour. The unit combines bilateral H13 True HEPA filters with activated carbon to intercept dust, pollen, and airborne smoke. Testers commended the built-in infrared sensor and crisp display, which provide real-time particulate metrics to inform automatic fan speed adjustments. However, the reviewer noted that the device does not include a handheld remote control. Users must approach the console for setting changes. Furthermore, the requirement to renew both filter cartridges every six months establishes ongoing maintenance costs that budget buyers should consider.

Reviewed evaluates the Morento HY4866 and highlights its viability as an ozone-free, budget air cleaner for domestic households. Equipped with responsive optical sensors and dual True HEPA filters, the machine demonstrated solid smoke removal during chamber testing while keeping operational hum whisper-quiet in dedicated sleep mode. Testers appreciated the clear particulate feedback that helps track air quality improvements. However, the evaluation criticized the lightweight plastic construction. Reviewers noted that the cabinet feels somewhat delicate. The purifier also lacks a separate washable pre-filter to catch coarse pet fur, and maximum fan velocity produces significant noise. Furthermore, practical cleaning outputs fall slightly short of the ambitious square-footage claims advertised by the brand.
