Verdict

The PureMate 2200ml Portable Dehumidifier (Model PM425) is a compact, lightweight 2.5 kg device designed to cover spaces up to 20m², operating efficiently at a low power consumption of 65W. Key characteristics include a 2.2-litre water tank, a 24-hour programmable timer, an automatic shut-off safety sensor with an LED full indicator, a continuous drainage option, and a built-in air purification filter. Its main pros are its portable 24.4 x 13.5 x 37 cm dimensions, simple one-touch digital controls, and whisper-quiet operation driven by a compressor-free thermo-electric Peltier cooling module. However, its notable cons include a relatively slow moisture extraction rate of only up to 600ml per day and reduced effectiveness in larger spaces or colder environments under 10°C.
