Verdict

The Kärcher SC 5 EasyFix Iron is a high-end 2,200 W cylinder steam cleaner delivering up to 4.2 bar of pressure. Its removable, continuously refillable dual-tank system holds a total of 2 litres and is intended to cover up to 150 m² without lengthy interruptions. The VapoHydro function mixes hot water with steam to loosen and rinse stubborn dirt, while the included pressurized steam iron is designed to reduce ironing time substantially. Its main disadvantages are the high purchase price, bulky form and relatively loud operation at some settings.
