What owners say about the Wanbo Mozart 1 Pro 2025

Based on 37 owners sharing their experience in online comments

19%positive35%mixed46%negative

Owners praise the bright image and smooth gaming, while disappointing picture quality, compatibility gaps, and noisy fans cause frustration.

What owners dislike

  • Image looks dim and blurry at around 3 to 4 metres, past the rated 3.3 metre throw, and focus cannot fix it.5
  • Colors look garish or artificial, and bright scenes lose highlight detail, with pale skin tones, even after adjusting settings.5
  • HDR may be refused by consoles, and firmware 1.0.6 reportedly broke it while 1.0.5 worked. Streaming looks worse unless 4K 60fps is set.4
  • Remote may not work during setup, forcing an app workaround; autofocus may fail and the picture settings menu or setup screen can freeze.4
  • Fan noise is loud, measured at about 42 dB, and can disturb movie watching at night.3
  • Sound is weak, often barely audible below half volume, and in some apps the volume stays loud and does not drop.3

Points mentioned by at least 3 owners, most mentioned first.

What customers like about Wanbo Mozart 1 Pro 2025

  • Significantly improved brightness (1,200 ANSI lumens) suitable for rooms with some ambient light
  • Rich and powerful audio quality from dual 10W speakers and built-in subwoofer
  • Seamless streaming experience with official Google TV OS and Widevine L1 for native 4K Netflix support
  • Fast and reliable ASA 3.0 smart automation, including autofocus, auto-keystone, and obstacle avoidance
  • Smooth motion for sports and gaming via hardware-level MEMC technology
  • Quiet operation with fan noise levels measured as low as 32dB
  • Fully enclosed optical engine prevents dust buildup and lens spots

What customers don't like about Wanbo Mozart 1 Pro 2025

  • Native resolution is 1080p, not true 4K (4K refers to input/decoding support)
  • Occasional remote control input lag when navigating the Google TV interface
  • Proprietary mounting/stand points (100x120mm) instead of standard VESA or universal threads
  • The 150° tilting gimbal stand is often sold as an optional bundle rather than included in the base box
  • Noticeable loss of sharpness at the corners when using aggressive digital keystone correction from off-center angles
  • Relatively bulky and heavy (3.3kg) compared to some ultra-portable competitors
  • No built-in lens cap for physical protection

Verdict

The Wanbo Mozart 1 Pro 2025 is a 1080p native resolution LCD projector that delivers an upgraded 1,200 ANSI lumens of brightness and supports 4K HDR10 decoding for enhanced contrast and vivid colors. Key features include the official Google TV OS with native Netflix certification, ASA 3.0 intelligent adjustment (autofocus, auto-keystone, and obstacle avoidance), and a powerful 20W internal audio system with a 90mm bass diaphragm. Pros include its low 32dB operating noise, hardware-level MEMC for smooth motion, and Widevine L1 support for high-definition streaming. However, some users note drawbacks such as occasional ads on the Google TV home screen, the absence of a lens cap, and the gimbal stand often being sold as a separate bundle item rather than included in the standard box.
