Verdict

The Comedes Demecto 70 is a heavy-duty 800W dehumidifier and construction dryer designed for large spaces up to 120m² for active dehumidification and 240m² for dry-keeping. Operating within a temperature range of 5–35°C, it features a massive maximum extraction capacity of up to 75 liters per day (70 liters at 30°C/80% RH), a 4.8-liter water tank, dual automatic operating modes (humidity and temperature-controlled), a timer, automatic defrosting, and overflow/overheating protection. Main advantages include its immense drying performance for cellars or water damage restoration, extensive air distribution, and the ability to connect a hose or external condensation pump for continuous drainage. However, it is quite heavy at 19.5 kg and has a relatively small onboard tank capacity relative to its high daily output, requiring frequent manual emptying if a continuous hose line is not used.
