Verdict

The Ariston Deos 12 is a compact, portable refrigerant dehumidifier designed for rooms up to 35m², utilizing eco-friendly R290 gas and operating at a maximum energy-efficient consumption of 250W. Key technical characteristics include a daily moisture absorption capacity of 12 liters, an airflow of 120 m³/h, a 1.85 to 2.1-liter water tank, a 3-speed fan, built-in dust filters, electronic humidity level adjustments (40%, 50%, 60%), and automated modes such as laundry drying, continuous extraction, auto shut-off when full, and auto restart following power failure. Main pros highlight its low environmental impact, low power usage, convenient mobility with integrated omnidirectional wheels, and electronic control that effectively prevents mold and bacteria growth. Conversely, its core cons stem from a relatively small water tank that requires frequent manual emptying during high-humidity scenarios and real-world noise levels peaking around 37 to 46 dB(A), making it less suitable for light sleepers if placed directly in a bedroom.
