Verdict

The Ardes AR8D01 Deumì is a compact, portable thermoelectric mini-dehumidifier measuring 16 x 13 x 21 cm and weighing 1.4 kg, which operates via gas-free Peltier cell technology. It features a 0.5-liter water tank, a dehumidification capacity of 220–250 ml per day (at 30°C and 80% RH), a visible water level indicator, and pilot lamps including a full tank indicator. Its main pros are an exceptionally low power consumption of just 22–25 watts, a highly silent operational noise level of 35 dB(A) or less, and a space-saving design ideal for small, unventilated spaces like walk-in closets or small bathrooms. However, its main cons include a very low moisture extraction rate that makes it entirely unsuitable for large rooms, massive dampness issues, or environments with temperatures falling close to freezing, where thermoelectric models lose efficiency.
