Verdict

The Aktobis WDH-725DG is a high-efficiency rotary compressor dehumidifier optimized for rooms up to 50 m², offering a maximum dehumidification capacity of 25 liters per day at an average continuous power consumption of 320W (420W maximum). Main characteristics and pros include an integrated LED hygrostat with a 30% to 90% target humidity range, an automated 1-24 hour timer, dual ventilation speeds, smart home compatibility via WLAN sockets, an auto-defrost feature for cold basements down to 5°C, and a continuous hose drainage option. However, its core cons are a relatively small 3-liter condensation tank that limits unattended continuous operation and a maximum noise level of 48 dB(A) which may be too loud for bedroom use.

What customers like about Aktobis WDH-725DG?

  • High extraction capacity of up to 25 liters per day, making it highly efficient for larger rooms up to 50 sqm.
  • Clear LED digital display that shows the actual humidity, current temperature, and current operating status.
  • Features a built-in electric hygrostat and auto-stop functionality that turns the compressor and fan off once the target humidity is reached.
  • Versatile drainage options, offering an easy-to-empty water tank as well as a connection point for a continuous drainage hose.

What customers dislike about Aktobis WDH-725DG?

  • Like most high-capacity compressor-based dehumidifiers, it can produce noticeable noise levels, which might be slightly disruptive in quiet rooms or bedrooms.
