When should you consider buying a double filter coffee machine?
A double filter coffee machine makes sense when you regularly need two different coffees or more than one pot at the same time. The classic case is regular and decaf for a mixed household or for guests. Offices, small B&Bs and club rooms use them to brew two 10-cup jugs at once without waiting for a second cycle.
It also fits one strong and one mild blend, or a fresh pot ready while the first one empties. If you drink fewer than 8 cups a day, a single machine is cheaper and takes up half the counter. The Severin KA 9252 shows the compact end, with an 8-cup rating and a 1 l tank.
