What it is
Average grade from independent test sites, magazines and video reviewers, 1–10.
How we count it
Grades: Each review's own score is converted to 1–10; without one, we grade the review ourselves.

What we like about Bosch WGB2660K1

  • 11 kg capacity takes a whole week of bedding and towels.
  • 1600 RPM spin leaves clothes drier before they go on the line.
  • Energy and spin-drying are both rated A.
  • Steam technology helps freshen clothes between washes.
  • Anti-stain and anti-crease functions cut down on ironing.
  • A delay start of up to 24 h lets you run it overnight.

What we don't like about Bosch WGB2660K1

  • At 81 kg it is very hard to move once installed.
  • The 72 dB spin is noticeable at the end of a cycle.
  • 44 L of water per cycle is a lot for a small load.
  • Only 2 programs finish in under an hour, so quick choices are limited.

Verdict

11 kg of laundry fit into the Bosch WGB2660K1, so it suits a family that washes bedding and towels every week. The drum spins at up to 1600 RPM, which leaves clothes drier and cuts time on the line. Energy use is 42 kWh per 100 cycles, and the machine is rated A for both washing and spin drying. A night or silent option keeps the noise down when the machine runs late. A Mini Load setting handles a small wash, and a Refresh cycle freshens clothes that have been sitting. The main trade-off is weight. At 81 kg it is hard to move, so it needs a firm spot where it can stay. If you have the room and want one large machine for a busy week, this is a sensible pick.
