Verdict

Nine kilograms in one drum is the reason to look at the Cecotec Bolero DressCode 9610, especially for a family with a big weekly wash. It is an inverter machine with 15 programmes, steam and a 1400 RPM spin. The energy class is A, and it uses 49 kWh per 100 cycles. Shirt, duvet, Baby Care, Anti-Allergy and wool cycles are all included, which is handy for a busy house. The main trade-off is the spin: it is loud at 76 dB, and the spin-drying class is C, so clothes can come out damp. Child lock, pause and add, unbalanced load detection and a 24 h delay start are all handy. It suits a large family that wants steam and plenty of programmes.
