Verdict

Hotpoint NDB 9635 W UK reaches a washing capacity of 9 kg and drying of 6 kg with exceptional energy efficiency, consuming 307 kWh for 100 combined cycles and only 65 L of water per combined wash. The unit integrates Digital Motion technology with inverter motor, the AntiStain 100 function to remove over 100 types of stains at 40°C and Steam Hygiene which eliminates 99.9% of bacteria and viruses. Includes 14 wash programs including Anti-Allergy, 20 minute Steam Refresh and Woolmark approved wool care, plus AquaStop protection and quick wash option. The machine runs at 75dB when spinning, has a 10-year motor warranty and British Allergy Foundation approval for sensitive skin. Weaknesses include only 12 advanced functions compared to competitors, lack of foam control system, no prewash or extra rinse, and high water consumption of 50 L per wash cycle. Other limitations are the minimum spin speed of 600 RPM, lack of Wi-Fi connectivity, no automatic load balancing, and a quick wash duration of 30 minutes.
