What we like about LG RH90V9PV2N

  • The A+++ energy class means 194 kWh a year.
  • At 62 dB it runs quietly enough for a kitchen.
  • The motor carries a 10 year warranty.
  • The reversible door can be hung on either side.
  • The condenser cleans itself, so there is less upkeep.
  • A drying rack is included for delicate items.

What we don't like about LG RH90V9PV2N

  • At 66.6 cm deep it takes more room from front to back.
  • At 60 cm wide it will not suit a narrow alcove.
  • The premium price means a bigger outlay up front.
  • The front door needs clear space to open fully.

Verdict

Quiet running is the first thing you notice with the LG RH90V9PV2N, a 9 kg heat pump dryer. At 62 dB it is quiet enough to run in a kitchen while you cook. Its 194 kWh a year fits the A+++ energy class, so running costs stay low over time. An ECO setting lets you choose between saving energy and saving time. The condenser cleans itself with a water spray, and the door can be hung on either side. The trade-off is size: at 66.6 cm deep and 60 cm wide it needs a fair amount of floor space. The price sits in the premium band. It suits a buyer with a roomy utility space who wants a quiet, efficient dryer and a long motor warranty.
