Big pots for the whole family every morning are what the De'Longhi ICM15250 is made for. Its 1.3 L water tank holds enough water for 15 cups, so you rarely need to top it up in the middle of a brew. The aroma strength control lets you pick a milder or stronger cup, and the small-batch setting makes a smaller pot for one or two people. You can set the timer the night before, so coffee is ready when you come down. Drip stop lets you pour a cup before the brew has finished. The trade-off is the carafe. It is glass rather than thermal, so the coffee relies on the warming plate to stay hot. It suits a household that wants plenty of coffee, timed brewing and simple controls.
