A household that wants plenty of programs and no phone link will find the Candy GDL 8N1-80 worth a look. The heat pump keeps the energy use modest: 1.16 kWh on a partial load, and 2.08 kWh on a full one. The 102 L drum is on the small side, so bulky bedding is a squeeze. There is no Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or interior light, and the door cannot be reversed. It suits a buyer who wants many programs on a budget and does not need a phone to run the cycle.
