What we like about Beko DTLCE80041W

  • The Fast function finishes a cycle in 10 min for a quick top-up.
  • At 31.5 kg it is easy to move for a machine of its size.
  • Its 56.8 cm depth suits a shallow utility space.
  • A baby program gives baby clothes their own cycle.
  • Humidity sensors end the cycle once the clothes are dry.
  • Fifteen programs give a wide choice for different fabrics.

What we don't like about Beko DTLCE80041W

  • At 66 dB it is loud enough to notice from another room.
  • There is no display, so you have to guess how far along the cycle is.
  • There is no transparent door to check the load while it runs.
  • You cannot choose drying times, so you work from the programs alone.
  • Each full load uses 4.75 kWh, and the yearly total is 561.1 kWh.
  • The delayed start reaches only 9 h ahead.

Verdict

Fifteen programs and an 8 kg drum make the Beko DTLCE80041W a sensible pick for a family that dries a full load most days. It is a condenser model with humidity sensors, so the cycle can end once the clothes are dry. The Fast function is the standout, finishing a cycle in 10 min when you are short of time. At 31.5 kg it is easy to shift for its size, and its 56.8 cm depth suits a shallow utility space. A baby program, a hygiene setting, gentle drying and a child lock add useful extras. The trade-off is noise: at 66 dB it is loud while it runs, and it has no display to show progress. It suits a busy home that wants simple drying and can live with the noise.
