What we like about Beko DRX722W

What we don't like about Beko DRX722W

  • At 7 kg the drum is small for a family's washing.
  • At 65 dB it is noticeable in a quiet room.
  • At 46 kg it is hard to move on your own.

Verdict

Narrow enough for a hallway, the Beko DRX722W is a heat pump dryer for people with little space. Its 54 cm depth is the real selling point, and the 59.5 cm width is still a standard size. The heat pump dries at lower temperatures, which is kinder to clothes. Energy class A++ at 212 kWh a year is low. Fifteen programs cover most loads, including shirts and jeans, and the fast function handles a small load when time is short. The trade-off is the drum. At 7 kg it is small for a family, so a big week of washing takes more than one run. At 65 dB it is also audible in a quiet flat. It suits one person or a couple who want an efficient dryer for a tight corner and do not run it every day.
