Only 54.5 cm deep, the Beko BM3T38220X is a heat pump dryer for a small utility room or a tight flat, and that depth is its main draw. A full load uses 1.84 kWh per cycle and a partial load 0.99 kWh. The bidirectional drum turns both ways, and the shirt, jeans and duvet programs cover the things most people dry. An ECO function gives an easy way to save energy on everyday loads. The trade-off is noise at 64 dB and a weight of 39.5 kg, so this is not a machine to move around. There is no delayed start and no wool program. It suits a buyer who wants a slim, efficient dryer for regular use and does not mind a premium machine.
