Humidity sensors and a laundry detection system help the AEG TR718P4OB stop when the load is dry. It is an 8 kg heat pump dryer with a reversible door, so you can fit it on the side the wall needs. The 65 dB noise is moderate, so it is easy to run in a utility room. Duvet, bed linen and refresh programs cover the big items, and gentle drying takes care of delicate pieces. The trade-off is the program list. Ten programs are fewer than some buyers want, and there is no wool setting. The energy label is only D, so it is not a cheap machine to run every day. It suits a household that mostly dries bedding and everyday clothes, and does not need many special programs.
