Verdict

The Belaco BS-C388 Handheld Steam Cleaner is a compact and lightweight 1.81 kg portable unit operating at 1050 watts of power to deliver up to 3 bars of high-pressure chemical-free steam reaching temperatures up to 135°C. It features a 300 ml water tank (with a recommended 250 ml fill capacity) that heats up rapidly within 3 minutes and an integrated aluminum alloy boiler for enhanced durability. Main advantages include eco-friendly sanitization safe for homes with pets, versatile multi-surface application across tiles, upholstery, and car interiors, and a comprehensive 9-piece accessory kit for targeting tight crevices. However, notable drawbacks include a relatively short runtime of approximately 10 to 20 minutes per fill, a lack of a hands-free continuous steam lock mechanism requiring constant button pressure, and a strict requirement to allow the unit to cool down before opening the safety cap for refills.
