Reviews last updated: July 2026 · How we calculate this

What we like about Samsung NX 10mm F3 5 Fisheye

  • Extremely compact and lightweight (approx. 71-72g), making it highly portable
  • Excellent sharpness, particularly when stopped down to f/5.6
  • Impressive 180-degree field of view for creative wide-angle photography
  • Effective autofocus system that is noted for being quick and reliable
  • Low chromatic aberration and minimal vignetting for a fisheye lens
  • Short minimum focus distance (approx. 0.09m/3.5") allows for dramatic close-ups

What we don't like about Samsung NX 10mm F3 5 Fisheye

  • Maximum aperture of f/3.5 is relatively slow compared to some prime competitors
  • Lacks optical image stabilization (OIS), requiring a body with stabilization for shaky hands
  • No distance scale on the lens for manual focusing
  • Bulging front element makes it impossible to mount standard screw-on filters
  • The lens cap is reportedly prone to slipping off too easily
  • Tiny size requires care to keep fingers from accidentally appearing in the wide 180° frame
